With a car or motorcycle, you can explore the island at your own pace and gain access to the most secluded spots! In case you don't have your own vehicle, it is an excellent idea to rent one for your sightseeing trips! You will find several rental agencies in any central spot, like in Chora and close to the port.

Public Transportation

Buses carry out routes towards the most popular spots of the island. During summer the itineraries are more frequent, comparing to winter season, as the demand gets higher because of the large number of people who choose Sifnos for their holidays. Keep in mind that even in the summer, public transportation isn’t a very reliable means of transportation. Also, the timetables for the summer months will be announced closer to the date.
